Bio

Maya Margolina is a director, photographer, and creative director. She founded the video department at Glossier and later led the creative rebrand of video at Allure, Condé Nast, working alongside Patrick Demarchelier, Mario Testino, Dan Jackson, and others. Born in Uzbekistan, she emigrated to New York at five years old through political asylum.

She is known for directing and concepting commercial and narrative work for clients including Mercedes-Benz, Vogue, Fenty, Spotify, YSL, Google, Lancôme, Glossier, and Adidas, among others.

Her work includes dozens of widely circulated films featuring A-list talent such as Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid, Paloma Elsesser, Heidi Klum, Lupita Nyong’o, Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Tyra Banks, Amanda Seyfried, Tyrese Haliburton and more.
